    • REMIE,  Multidisciplinary Journal of Educational Research , is a quarterly electronic journal of open access (Open Access) of Editorial Hipatia that presents research results that contribute significantly to the understanding and improvement of educational processes. REMIE not only collects the results of research promoted from different disciplines and methodological approaches; it also favors the publication of research results resulting from interdisciplinary teams. In this line, disciplinary or interdisciplinary works related to education from pedagogy, sociology, psychology, anthropology, history, philosophy, economics, linguistics, geography or political science will be published.

    This scientific journal arises from the need to respond to the excessive compartmentalization of scientific knowledge that has traditionally existed in the educational field in Spain and Latin America. It also aims to be an international space for debate and criticism through the presentation of theoretical contributions and evidence that can promote educational equity and the improvement of our societies.

     

    Blind Review Policy:

    All research articles published in this journal will have undergone a rigorous blind review process, based on prior review by the editors and blind review sent to two expert reviewers in the field.

    REMIE has been accepted for inclusion in SCOPUS .     Until October 5, 2013, Hipatia Press scientific journals were published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs License (CC BY NC ND). Hipatia Press decided to change the license and use Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) as recommended by the  Budapest Open Access Initiative taking into account its commitment to the Open Access movement.
